Jacob Lake Inn       Jacob Lake Inn Grand Canyon North Rim, Arizona Jacob Lake Inn is the only motel in the Grand Canyon north rim area which opens year round. It is located in Kaibab National Forest with beautiful scenery of Ponderosa pines and amazing night skies. Jacob Lake Inn has friendly staff and comfortable rooms, ranging from the newer motel rooms with internet access to rustic cozy cabins. Some of the cabins are remodeled survivors of our original location at Jacob Lake on the old Jacob Canyon gravel highway. All the rooms have showers, heaters, and a nice porch to sit and enjoy the cool mountain breezes. In addition to those amenities, the two-story motel has newer guest rooms with cable television, internet access, and phones. Located at the junction of US 89A and AZ highway 67, Jacob Lake Inn is 44 miles north of the Grand Canyon north rim. It is a convenient place to stay for visiting the Grand Canyon North Rim. It takes about 35 minutes to drive from Jacob Lake Inn to Grand Canyon National Park North Rim entrance. Jacob Lake Inn has a family style restaurant which services excellent food. Most guests stayed there liked the food, home baked cookies and pastries. Jacob Lake Inn has a service station providing gasoline, oil changes, tire safety inspections, and light mechanic work. A country store provides groceries, baked goods, and a soda fountain. Other services include pay phones, an ATM, Showers, Travel Information for Grand Canyon north rim area and a letter drop. Pets are only allowed in some rooms with a daily fee of $10. Jacob Lake Inn is owned by Rich Family LC.

2 Jacob Lake Inn Cabin

Cabin       Cabin One bed, non-smoking. It can be a double bed, a queen bed or a king bed. Sleep up to 2 guests. No roll away bed can be added. The cabins at Jacob Lake Inn are rustic and cozy. Each cabin has a bed, shower, toilet, heater, and a comfortable deck to sit on and enjoy the mountain air. There is no TV or phone in the cabins. Guests can use the public pay phone in the lobby. The cabin area has a stone waterfall which has become a favorite birdwatching location at Jacob Lake Inn. It is beautifully landscaped with wildflowers, native grasses, shrubs, and trees.

3 Jacob Lake Inn Motel Double Room

These motel rooms have a shower, toilet, heater, and a place to sit and enjoy the fresh mountain air. There is no TV or phone in these motel rooms. Guests can use the public pay phone in the lobby.

4 Jacob Lake Inn Motel Queen Room

Motel Queen Room       Motel Queen Room Two queen beds. Sleep up to 4 guests. No roll away bed can be added. These motel rooms at Jacob Lake Inn are non-smoking rooms with with two queen beds, cable television, phone, internet access heater and air-conditioning. There is a shower and toilet in the small bathroom. There is no tub. They are located in the two-story motel building. Pets, and Cots are not allowed in these rooms.

Dining Room Jacob Lake Inn dining room is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast at Jacob Lake Inn is fresh, generous, wholesome country food. Big steaming hotcakes (buttermilk or fresh ground whole wheat) with the best of bacon, ham, sausage and eggs cooked to order in several combinations are very popular. Guests also love our French Toast made from fresh eggs, milk, cinnamon and Jacob Lake's homemade bread. Our delicious breakfasts are a result of our generations-old recipes.
